How to Create Content Like an Influencer

Here’s a social media tip that everyone should know. Video always performs better than photos.

It’s better for social media posts, entertainment, and advertisements.

If you don’t believe me? Ask your friends what they rather look at. A photo of a new phone that’s about to be released, or a video highlighting the new features of the phone? I’m pretty sure the video will be the popular choice.

At the same time, Instagram is known as a platform to post great photos, so you want to add some greats pictures as well as videos.

My rule of thumb is 1 photo and 1 video posted per day. If you’re posting 3 times per day, make that 2 photos and 1 video per day.

“But I thought you said videos were better than photos?”

I did say that, but too much of a good thing gets boring. Think of your videos as a nice treat to compliment your photos.

Now that you have your content ready to go, we need to make a few tweaks to make it stand out.

Unless you are a professional photographer, videographer, or you’re curating content from one of them, your content isn’t going to be perfect from the start.

But there are features and applications to make your photos and videos stand out from the crowd.

The two things I always use for my content are Instagram’s filters and an app called Inshot.

Everyone knows about Instagram’s filters. They can make anyone look like supermodels and make areas look stunning. That’s why when you post an image, you should go through all of the filters that they offer.

You don’t have to use any of the filters. They may look worse on your photo than if you just leave it alone. But give the filters a look and see if they will make your photo pop out more. If it seems amazing to you, it will to someone else as well.

My other suggestion is that you download the app Inshot. Inshot is a photo and video editing application that allows you to add emojis, text, and much more to your content.
